# Can we talk about Dean’s face in the fourth gif, though? # and the moment after that that’s not in this gifset but in the promo # and how it changes from 3 to 4 # in the third gif you can see his relief # Cas is walking and talking and he might just get his best friend back # and then he says ‘Pull my finger’ # and at first Dean thinks there must be something wrong with his hearing # but then Cas repeats it # and he knows he hasn’t misheard # and his entire face shatters # and you can see the shock and the desperation and the grief # because he’s just been punched in the gut by false hope yet again # and he does it anyway because Cas is his friend, although it is so, so fucking hard for him # I’m sorry I’ll be over in the corner crying over my fucking Destiel feelings, okay? # someone pick me up in an hour or so if I haven’t died of dehydration and desperation by then
